Why Become a Member

 

An annual membership can simplify your life, save you money, help you maintain your home, reduce your stress, keep you mobile, and connect you to others in your community. The benefits include confidence, connectedness, independence, and peace of mind.

 

Full membership in Viva Village is available to adults who need the support and services Viva Village provides in order to remain in their homes.

 

Types of Membership and Fees

Full service members



  • Social, educational and cultural programs
  • Access to a list of screened professionals
  • Approximately 100 service appointments per year by vetted, trained volunteers
  • $540/year for a single person for that home.
  • $240/year for each additional person in that home needing services
Associate members
  • Social, educational and cultural programs
  • Access to a list of screened professionals
  •   Bonuses:
  • Two volunteer service appointments per year
  • One time a year for emergency use: full-service benefits for one month without an additional fee
  • $300/year for a single person for that home
  • $200/year for each additional person in that home
Note that a good portion of this is tax deductible.

 

How to Become a Member


If you would like to become a member, contact us in any of these ways:

  1. Call the office at 503-746-5082.
  2. Click on Membership Form to bring up an electronic form that you can fill out and submit online.
  3. Download a printable Membership Request Form. Mail the completed form to the address below.
  4. Stop by the office during office hours, talk to an office volunteer, and fill out a form in person.

After receiving your request, a Membership Team member will contact you to arrange a time to meet with you in your home to discuss Viva Village and your needs. The information collected from you will be given to our Membership Panel, who will review it and then contact you about the next step in the membership application.
