Meet in the parking lot at 9:30 am at 6697 SW 88th Avenue ( Portland address just off of Scholls Ferry Road). Vista Brook Park is on the Fanno Creek Trail in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood. Note that 88th Avenue is a tricky cul-de-sac, so continue to the sharp right turn and then take the next left turn, which leads to the parking lot.
A boardwalk and viewing platform provide access to a pond and natural area. There are opportunities for bird watching and hearing and seeing Pacific tree frogs. Paved trails connect the park to the regional Fanno Creek Trail, so you can easily go on as far as you choose. Within THPRD boundaries, the Fanno Creek Trail includes 4.5 miles of ADA-accessible trail that meanders through the Garden Home-Whitford and Raleigh Hills communities.
