For Village Volunteers, this is a joint webinar sponsored by the Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative (OABHI) and the Oregon Gerontological Association (OGA).

Social isolation, financial uncertainty, the threat of illness, and restrictions in movement are just some of the risk factors for depression that have heightened during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn how to support the mental wellness of older adults despite physical distancing, how to spot the top warning signs of depression and suicide, and about older adult services and supports that are currently available in Oregon for those struggling with isolation or who are in a mental health crisis.

There will be time for questions and discussion at the end of the presentation.

Registration is through the OGA website.
Space is limited. Register early.
