Bring your items to the Viva Village parking lot (4905 SW Griffith Drive, Beaverton 97005) between
10 am and 1 pm on October 2
.
Enjoy the convenience of staying in your car! Following current masking guidelines, volunteers will collect your items from your car. No need to RSVP.
RECYCLE
Dispose of hazardous materials responsibly.
Viva Village Volunteers and Master Recyclers Dick Eyde, Trish Reading, and Vici Wolff will make sure they get to the right place.

DONATE
Give your no-longer-needed items a chance for a new home. (Reusing is another form of recycling.) We've arranged for a Union Gospel Mission truck to pick up all donated items at the end of the event.

Cleaners and disinfectants

Sharps (medical syringes) in approved sharps container
Batteries
Fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs)
Aerosols
Automotive products
Thermometers
Pool and spa chemicals
Block Styrofoam (no “peanuts”)
Hobby chemicals
Electronics: (cell phones, computers, monitors, peripherals, etc.)
No televisions on Oct. 2 Recycle Day

PREPARE HAZARDOUS WASTE PROPERLY:
Keep products in original containers
Containers less than 5 gallons
Do not mix products together
Seal products properly
Pack upright in a single layer in a leakproof box.
Transport in trunk of car
Medical sharps in approved sharps container only
Be prepared to leave container
FOR DONATIONS, PLEASE:
All items should be clean and in good repair
Clothing should be in a bag or box
No large items—items should fit in a car
No furniture

Small home appliances
Household items: dishes, kitchenware, jewelry, knick-knacks, clean area rugs
Miscellaneous items: tools, musical instruments, artwork, antiques
